Bowers & Wilkins 705 Loudspeakers - Did It Deserve It's Awards?

Australian HiFi magazine says yes!

"I was seriously impressed by the B&W 705's surprisingly robust bass and by their fast, dynamic, resolved - and exceedingly accurate - midrange.  The tweeters' high-frequency resolution was also a stand-out for me, particularly in regard to its delicacy with detail and in reproducing harmonics and its resulting ability to unravel complex recorded information.  So overall, it's no surprise these speakers have picked up so many awards in the several years they have been available, most recently a Sound & Image award for 'Best Speakers Under $2,500' (2008).  Says it all really!" - Edgar Kramer
