Bowers & Wilkins Wins More Awards in the UK
It has been another fantastic year in the UK press for Bowers & Wilkins. Not only has Zeppelin swept the board for its design and performance, the core range of products has been awarded high accolades – some for the second year running.
At awards events in the UK through October, B&W came out on top by having the most nominations and category winners than any other audio Brand. Adding to previous success already this year for Zeppelin, this confirms B&W’s position as being the Brand that is leading the drive for true sound.
The total list of award winners are as follows:
What HiFi? Sound & Vision, UK
- 685 – Product of the Year (second year running)
- PV1 – Product of the Year (second year running)
- 685 – Theatre Product of the Year
- MT30 – Best Style Speaker Package over ₤1000 (third year running)
- ASW610 – Best Subwoofer Under ₤500
- Zeppelin – Best Premium iPod® Speaker Dock
Stuff Magazine Awards, UK
- Zeppelin – Best Audio Product
T3 Magazine Awards, UK
- Zeppelin – Highly Commended Drop-Dead Gorgeous Award
HiFi Choice Awards, UK
- 802D – Silver Award for Speakers Over ₤5000
- 683 – Silver Award for Speakers ₤500 - ₤1000
Zeppelin has already amassed a large number of awards this year (EISA, MacWorld and iPod User) and the above awards continue to show its dominance in the iPod speaker world. The awards for the core products continue where they left off last year, as both the 685’s and PV1 were winners in the same categories in 2007.
