Convoy International, sole Australian distributor for Music Hall audiophile turntables, is pleased to announce a brand new entry-point player, the MMF1.3. While the new model introduces Music Hall to a new audience thanks to its very competitive pricing, those familiar with the brand’s existing, superbly engineered, high performance lineup will immediately recognise the brand’s DNA in the 1.3, which has been developed on an all-new platform, any previous model.
The 1.3 continues the Music Hall tradition of purist design featuring belt drive, manual operation, solid MDF plinth construction, superb isolation and high quality components throughout. A DC motor maintains speed stability while an aluminium tonearm with precision bearings and removable headshell and a high-quality, pre-mounted Audio Technica cartridge ensure fidelity that is unrivalled in its class.
What really sets the 1.3 apart however are the inclusion of electronic three-speed control – yes, including 78 RPM! – and an inbuilt phono preamp, meaning it can be can be connected quickly and easily to any amplifier or powered speaker so you can have your vinyl spinning in no time flat.
“Music Hall’s reputation for building the world’s best-value record players is further enhanced thanks to this outstanding new model”, states John Martin, General Manager, Brands, for Convoy. He added “We look forward to welcoming a whole new group of vinyl lovers to the Music Hall family with the very affordable 1.3.” The 1.3’s other features includes a gloss piano black finish, removable RCA cables, aluminium platter, vibration damping platter mat, dust cover and vibration damping feet.
